Graham Skender is intensely passionate about his work.

The affair began when he was originally trained as a metal fabricator and first class welder. He became a tradesman after completing a four year apprenticeship in this field.

Graham moved into the wrought iron industry and spent many years working throughout Perth producing a wide variety of works from heavy gates and balustrades through to fine home furnishings and artworks.

In doing so he found he had a passion for forging iron and has had further training from renowned South West Blacksmith Malcolme Paine. Malcolme is an associate of the worshipful company of Blacksmiths in the United Kingdom.

It is through many years of training with Malcolme and recommendations through the West Australian Blacksmith Association to that Graham has received a second trade certificate as a Blacksmith. He established his own wrought iron business in 1993 and quickly gained a reputation for quality wrought iron work.

Grahams work has been sold through local art galleries and been purchased by many overseas clientele.

The workshop has grown in size over the years and now contains powerful forging machinery as well as traditional charcoal forges, anvils and tooling for works to be undertaken using forging techniques that have been around for centuries.
